A woman from Northern Ireland alleged to have been in John George’s company in Spain before his disappearance says she has received over ‘30 death threats’ and that she has told his family all the information she knows.

Madison Allen posted a four-minute video on social media platform TikTok on Thursday in which she denies involvement in the west Belfast man’s disappearance.

She also claims that she has told both Mr George’s family and police all the information she knows.

His family last spoke to him by phone on December 14 and believe that he has since been murdered.

The Belfast Telegraph reported that Ms Allen had been living in an apartment visited by Mr George while he had been on holiday.

The 19-year-old denies any involvement in his disappearance or knowledge of his whereabouts.

“I’m sick and tired of all the rumours,” she said.

“I’ve been off social media for two weeks. While I’ve been off social media, I have not been hiding or fleeing. I’ve been where I am right now.

John Hardy was due to fly home on December 14, but did not board his flight.
John George was reported missing on December 18 after failing to board a flight home.

“I’m not running; I’m not fleeing. The police back home has just advised me to stay here until it is safe.

“I can’t go back to Northern Ireland because my whole family is in danger.”

Ms Allen claims she has received “30 death threats back home” but did not say who they were from.

She added that she prays that Mr George is found “this week”.

“If I knew where John was, I could make this family at peace and I could also have my family get their own life back and be able to stay in their own houses and I could also have my life back and go back round my house and back round to my dogs,” she said.

“But I don’t know that information.”

Ms Allen also denied claims online that she had ‘abandoned’ her six dogs.

“Never in my life would I do that,” she said.

“No dogs are abandoned. No one’s fleeing the country. That’s it.”
