A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted on a bus in Belfast.

Police area investigating after it was reported the girl was assaulted on a bus travelling between the city and Dunmurry on Friday August 30.

The incident happened at around 7.40pm, and a PSNI spokesperson said police want to speak to a man described as having short hair, a beard and wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit and light-coloured shoes.

“Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious should call Police on 101 and quote reference 711 of 01/09/24,” they added.
