The weather forecaster is advising that some delays to road, rail, air and ferry travel will be likely and that coastal routes could be affected by spray and large waves.

In the Republic, Met Éireann has issued a yellow warning for rain in Donegal from 11am on Monday until 11am on Tuesday.

A yellow alert for wind is also in place for counties Donegal, Galway and Mayo overnight between Monday and Tuesday, from midnight until 11am.
