A person has been airlifted to hospital following a rescue operation at cliffs in Portrush.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon in the Ramore Head area of the north coast town.
A spokesperson for the Coleraine Coastguard said rope rescue teams were tasked to the scene following reports of a person at the base of cliffs in the area.

“The casualty had suffered serious head and leg injuries,” the spokesperson said, adding: “The casualty was stabilised at the base of the cliff before being winched by HMCG helicopter from Prestwick and transferred to Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.”
In a Facebook post following the incident, Causeway Coast and Glens Alliance councillor Richard Stewart said: “Thank you to everyone involved in the rescue operation in Portrush this afternoon.
“Wishing the injured person a speedy recovery.”
The PSNI were contacted for comment.
