HOLIDAY airline Jet2 has announced plans for a new venture from Belfast International Airport, offering Irish couples the opportunity to get married in Cyprus.
Bookings for Jet2Weddings are now live, with the first couples expected to set off in the summer of 2026.
Jet2 said it will provide a package holiday, including flights, hotel and transfers, while partner company Perfect Weddings Abroad will take care of the wedding arrangements.
The carrier, which flies to Paphos in Cyprus from Belfast International Airport, said it is offering 20 hotel wedding venues in its packages.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com said: “With the launch of Jet2Weddings, we are now giving customers the opportunity to say ‘I do’ abroad alongside all the benefits of booking an award-winning package holiday with the UK’s largest tour operator.
“As well as enjoying all the package holiday benefits of Jet2holidays, customers will also have access to a dedicated wedding coordinator through the leading weddings abroad specialist, to ensure their big day goes according to plan.”
