Tyrone and Derry start off their league campaigns with an Ulster derby as the two sides clash in Omagh on Saturday.
Both sides are under new management having underperformed last season under Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan and Mickey Harte respectively.
Malachy O’Rourke and Paddy Tally are now at the helm for the Red Hands and the Oak Leafers as they look to reach the next level of their developments.
Tyrone will be without the Canavan brothers Darragh and Ruairi after the two sons of Red Hand legend Peter Canavan were left concussed after their All-Ireland club senior final loss against Cuala.

Malachy O’Rourke, who is coming in off the back of a successful, trophy-laden stint with Derry club Glen, will hope that his side can benefit from the enhancements that the FRC, of which he is a member, brought in.
Derry have their own struggles to deal with, after winning Division One last year and then failing to make an impact in Ulster, losing heavily to Donegal and losing to Kerry in the quarter-final stage.
Paddy Tally, who was in the Kerry backroom team last year, was brought in after an extensive search for a manager in the offseason and hopes to get his tenure in the hot seat in Derry off to a good start against his native county.
