Love Island: All Stars contestant Scott Thomas has quit the spin-off show in an emotional episode saying he had to “be true” to himself.
Thomas, a season two contestant of the original Love Island series, decided to leave the show after a row broke out when he split up with fellow season two contestant Tina Stinnes during Sunday night’s episode.
Discussing his departure first with fishmonger Luca Bish, Thomas said: “I can’t force connections, do you know what I mean?

“And I just feel like I’ve come here and done everything that I wanted to do and anything else from here, I wouldn’t be being myself.”
“I’ve just got to be true to myself,” he added.
Later, Thomas gathered the group at the firepit to tell everyone the news, saying: “I don’t want this to be sad because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave and I think it’s the right time.
“I don’t want everyone to be sad, I’m in a good place about it.”
The group shed tears as Thomas announced his exit before he packed his bags.

He had coupled up with Stinnes before calling off their relationship, saying: “Something is holding me back from going to the next level… I want to give you that, but I can’t if I don’t fully feel it.
“You fully deserve that.”
Stinnes was comforted by some of the women before a row broke out between a group of Islanders over Thomas’s decision to break up with her.
“If you’re not happy, Scott, then go home babe,” contestant Elma Pazar told Thomas in a heated exchange.
Also on Sunday’s episode, ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard recoupled with former Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu after his head had previously been turned by Danielle Sellers.
Love Island: All Stars continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
