1. When did you think about a career in music and what were your first steps into it? Being a musician was always my end goal. I started performing and writing when I was about 16 and after college it was a natural progression to my first album.

2. Best gigs you’ve been to? Arcade Fire at Oxegen Festival, Punchestown, in 2007; Fleetwood Mac at Dublin’s 3 Arena in 2014 and James Taylor at Pine Knob, Michigan, in 2017.

3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band? Duran Duran maybe? I saw them at Electric Picnic two years ago and danced my socks off.

4. The record you’d take to a desert island? Joni Mitchell’s Blue. It’s one of my all times favourites and would keep me company like an old friend.

5. And the book? Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. It’s really long and I haven’t read it in ages. It would make me contemplate the meaning of life, which I’d have lots of time to do while there.

6. Top three films? Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump and Call Me By Your Name.

7. Worst film you’ve seen? Possibly Bohemian Rhapsody. It was sickly sweet and overly Hollywood and generally terribly done for a film that could have been phenomenal.

8. Favourite authors? George RR Martin. The Game of Thrones series is my life.

9. Sports you most enjoy and top teams? GAA (Dublin and Templeogue Synge Street), hockey and women’s gymnastics (my favourite part of the Olympics).

10. Ideal holiday destination? Thailand or somewhere where jungle meets beach.

11. Pet hate? People I don’t know and dirty dishes.

12. What’s your favourite:

Dinner? Saba Thai… or my mam's chicken Parmesan.

Dessert? Something chocolatey.

Drink? Whiskey Sour.

13. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other? Blue, my dog. I got her for my 24th birthday.

14. Is there a God? Not that I know of.
